Virginia Unclaimed Property Holder Information
Virtually every business organization from non-profits to Fortune 500 corporations to governmental agencies have some form of unclaimed property in their possession.
Unclaimed property is any tangible or intangible property for which there has been no owner-generated account activity for an extended period of time. This means if the owner does not contact you regarding the status of the account or make a deposit or present a demand for the property, the property is presumed abandoned.
