The state of Nevada does not have an active compliance/amnesty program. For holders remitting property for the first time under voluntary compliance, advance written notification is required prior to submitting a report.
A request for the waiver of fees and penalties can be made, and will be taken into consideration by the Administrator. This, however, will not prevent the State Treasurer’s office from initiating audit procedures if it has been determined that there is additional property to be reported.
