This is one of the best unclaimed property web sites out there. "Buck," the unclaimed property-hunting dog, is part retriever and part asset hound. Bravo!!! Or should I say "good boy"?;^)
Seriously though, this is an extremely informative and well-organized web site that is fun and engaging without being annoying or stupid. Excellent job.
Personal property and money that has gone unclaimed is turned over to the Indiana Unclaimed Property Division, which holds the property for 25 years while attempting to locate the rightful owner or their heirs.
Individuals who are legally entitled may file a claim for the property. If the money goes unclaimed after 25 years, it is deposited in the State’s Common School Fund and can no longer be claimed.
