The Unclaimed Property Office (UPO) is responsible for the administration of British Columbia's Unclaimed Property Act (UPA), which came fully into force on July 1, 2000. This new legislation requires both government and non-government holders of unclaimed property to make reasonable efforts to locate and notify owners of their unclaimed property. At this site, you can search of all unclaimed property databases (both government and non-government holders).
