Written in 1992 by an attorney with Fenwick & West, LLP. Outlines "a reliable mechanism to determine the ownership, scope and status of intellectual property rights."

From the Treasury Board of Canada's Internal Audit group come these excellent resources for internal auditors. Includes publications, audit & review guides, audit database and the "Universal Classification Standard," a reference tool for the internal audit community.
Written for internal auditors to expand their understanding of risk, explain its importance to government organizations, show how risk can be managed, and provide some of the more general tools which auditors can use in the audit of risk management. Prepared by the Treasury Board of Canada (1994, 36 pp.)
Formerly the Internal Audit Department. Links to internal audit news, tools, training, publications and more.
Fairly basic, with links to some interesting resources and documents, such as the Audit Survival Guide and the Novell Network Security Self Assessment.
Also known as the Handbook for Audit Committee Members, which was first issued in 1996. Discusses the importance of the audit committee’s role in corporate governance.

What used to be a collection of interesting facts about internal auditing, internal controls, and recent audit reports is now a boring, one-page policy statement. The internal auditing web site (http://www.fin.ucar.edu/ia/index.html) that was announced November 12, 1997 apparently has disappeared. Maybe someone disliked the "new way for staff to send information on suspected fraud, waste, and abuse at UCAR."
Nothing really worth looking at here. Just a couple of policy statements.
Many basic checklists and other items used by the internal audit department. Includes computer security, fraud, self assessment questionnaire and a new Quality Quiz for your internal audit staff.
Mostly contact information, with a couple of links to interesting material: an "electronic brochure," which provides background info on the office, and the Field Audit Manual, which is informative and complete.
Nothing too outstanding here: just the "Under Construction" graphic, which features a half-naked person in a skirt and sandals pounding on a wooden floor with a hammer. Maybe it's got something to do with spring break in Pensacola Florida, where this University is located.
